Last Wednesday, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows baseball team traveled to Algona and lost a 12-8 game to the  Bulldogs. The home team was up 6-0 before the Cowboys exploded for eight scores in the fourth. For the first two games of the new Clarion-Goldfield-Dows softball season, it was fun times for the Cowgirls as the optic yellow ball looked to be a lot bigger coming across the plate and you could hit about anything you wanted. When the dust settled, they combined for 25 total hits and 30 total runs in wins over West Hancock and Eagle Grove....
