Cowboys drop final game to Osage 36-18

What has been a difficult season for the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows/CAL football team came to a conclusion last Friday night at Osage in a 36-18 loss to the Green Devils. The Cowboys finish the 2015 campaign with a 1-8 overall record, going winless in district play.

Reymundo Vasquez scored the other touchdown on a run of 22 yards, and finished with 37 total on ten carries. The big yardage on the ground for the red and black came from Will Weidemann, as the sophomore picked up 125 yards on 24 carries (5.2-yard average). CAL’s Israel Rivera added 10 yards to round it out.
