Zack Leist receives Academic All-State honors

Zack Leist, a Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School Senior, recently received Academic All-State honors from the Football Coaches Association of Iowa.

Zack has maintained a 4.0 GPA during all four years of high school, is a member of the National Honors Society, and has lettered in sports for three years. In addition to football, he’s also participated in baseball, basketball, and track.

“He’s a great leader for us,” said Coach Newt Lingenfelter. “He missed a few games because of an injury, but otherwise he would have been a shoo-in for All-District for sure.”
