Water’s Edge New Manager Returns to Family Roots

“I’m the new manager,” Jeff Row said as he introduced himself to one of many tables at Water’s Edge at Saturday’s mid-day buffet.

“And you’re Barb’s….” the diner said, as if on cue.

“My family has a lot of history here in town,” he told the Monitor. “Coming to town, it was always a celebration with lots of food and family,” he said of trips here when he was younger. Now Jeff is working to help Wright County dining as manager of Water’s Edge, the public restaurant at Clarmond Country Club.

“It’s great, I love it here,” he said. “It’s really interesting that almost everybody I meet at the country club knows my family in some way.”

Jeff’s family with Clarion ties include Jack and Annette (Weld) Row, who currently live in Tennessee; his grandmother, Elizabeth Woolf, who  lives at the Meadows; and his aunt and uncle Barb and Jim Moore, longstanding members of the club.
