Three selected for North Central All-Conference Teams

These three Cowboy basketball players have been chosen for the North Central All-Conference Teams in balloting among league coaches. Pictured are, from left, Will Weidemann, Sam Urness and Rhett Darland. All three are juniors. Weidemann was a Third Team selection, and led the conference in field goal percentage at 61.6. He was fifth in rebounding at an average of 7.3 per game, and tied for eighth in blocked shots. Urness was a Second Team choice, and was 12th in scoring at 12.8 ppg. He was 15th in free throw shooting at 67 percent, and was also third in steals and fourth in assists. Darland was also a Second Team honoree, and was fourth in scoring at 16.9 ppg. He was second in free throw shooting at 82.9 percent, and sixth in three-pointers at 42.1 percent. He tied for 12th in blocked shots, and was 15th in assists.
