Supervisors continue hearing for DD#39 issue

Landowners Jim Sebby and Kenny Anderson were now able to be present at the continued hearing on DD#39 at this Monday’s Wright County Supervisors meeting. The Board put on their drainage trustees hats for this portion of their meeting, with Dave Johnson also present as legal counsel for the County on drainage matters. Drainage clerk Deb Lukes also attended the hearing.

Johnson opened the hearing by giving an overview of what has taken place up to now. DD#39 water drains north, while adjoining DD#23 water drains to the south. A resolution was earlier passed by the trustees to annex additional land into #39, with a proposed $436,000-plus as the cost.
