Supervisors again discuss issue in DD#2

Jim Moore Jr. was once again present during open forum time for an update on what is taking place with his land that drains into DD#2, and specifically his issue with standing water. Also present were Dave Hennigar and Larry Harrah. The reported making headway, but also still have approximately 1800 feet to go. Hennigar and Harrah think the 24-inch line may be plugged further north, and they could televise that to determine exactly where. They suspect the problem is under the roadway. They estimate they have 400 feet yet to replace, and the real issue is in the low area. They will stay on the problem, and keep Moore and the Board posted.

Jeremy Abbas, assistant to the county engineer, filled in for Adam Clemons in presenting two names for hiring as summer help. “This is especially to help keep up with mowing,” said Abbas. “These are two good applicants that are able and ready to go.” The Board approved the hires. Abbas also reported that edge patching on R33 is now completed.
