Security Savings Bank celebrates milestone in business

Security Savings Bank is celebrating another anniversary. They have been in business 115 years and are still going strong.

 

And Brian Greving, a new vice president who started in April and will split his time between here and Eagle Grove, believes existing 20 years in Clarion, 30 years in Goldfield, and 115 years in Eagle Grove is quite a feat.

 

“That’s pretty darn impressive,” he said.

 

Seven men planted the Bank’s roots in Eagle Grove in 1899.

 

Its original location was in a building that no longer exists on the lot where Ben Franklin currently sits.
