Richard Fred Liekweg

Richard Fred Liekweg, 83, born 11th month; 4th day; of ‘34 as he repeated so many, many times the past 9 weeks, died peacefully May 22, 2018 at the Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls. He died of recent respiratory complications after defeating cancer two times. Memorial services are planned for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Iowa Falls Elks Club with lunch to follow. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., also Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Elks Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family: Richard Liekweg Memorial; c/o Linn’s Funeral Home; 1521 Washington Ave.; Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. The family will forward memorials to scholarship funds of their choice.
