Public hearing set for proposed remodel of courtroom

It’s been more than 40 years since the last time improvements to the second floor courtroom at the courthouse in Clarion.

And Andy Yackle, director of Building and Grounds, and the Wright County Board of Supervisors, believe the time’s come to make them, both in the aesthetics department and others like security and energy efficiency.

 “I believe we need to preserve what we have,” Yackle said, adding that it’s important because the courthouse is one of the main symbols of a county.
