Now open: Sally's Sewing Room

Local quilters, rejoice—Clarion now has its very own sewing store.

Sally’s Sewing Room, owned by local quilter Sally Woodley, will officially open on January 4. The store is located at 110 North Main Street, between Envy Salon and the former Daisy’s On Main building (soon to be the location for Art U Creative and Preppy Farmer). While the store is not technically open yet, Woodley held several preview days last week and the week before where people could come in and have a look around.

“I was just anxious to get it open,” she said.

In addition to selling fabric by the yard, pre-cut fabric packs, and patterns and quilting kits (plus some wood furniture pieces from local carpenter Dana Wendell), Woodley will also be doing clothing alterations and teaching sewing classes in her new space.
