New Clarion police officer hopes to make big impact; Savannah Schnetzer excited to hit the streets

She may be one of the younger members of the Clarion police force, but field trainee Savannah Schnetzer is already feeling comfortable with the job. She still has quite a bit of training ahead of her until she is a certified police officer, yet she already says she is in love with the job.

After high school, she attended Iowa Central Community College to be an emergency medical technician and continued with the paramedic program. She then began working for Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion as an EMT and medical examiner.
