Remember this upcoming week, February 22-28 is National FFA Week!!! This year's theme is "Go All Out!"
This tradition was started in the late 1940s when National FFA Board of Directors designated the week of George Washington's birthday as National FFA Week in recognition of his legacy as an agriculturist and farmer.
Some of the activities the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows students and faculty will beparticipating in are a member lucheon at Pizza Ranch on Tuesday, the Sub-District Contest at Iowa Central Community College on Wednesday.
A faculty breakfast wil be held at the C-G-D High School on Thursday morning starting at 8 a.m. That night there will be a degree ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m.
To wrap up the week, students will dress up Friday wearing boots and their choice of some type of western shirt.
