Local student featured in fashion magazine

Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School Senior Lexi Harrington is redefining style.

But she isn't doing it by starting a new fashion trend or by bringing back a vintage look from the past.

Instead, Harrington is redefining style by reaching out to help other people.

For her Senior L.I.F.E. Project this year, she is making quilts for Mary's Place, located in Minneapolis, Minn., an organization that provides transitional apartments for homeless families with children.

"My goal is to give to those who aren't able to give back," Lexi said in an October 10 article in Style Redefine Magazine. "It feels good knowing you've done something to make someone happy."

Read more about Lexi's involvement with Mary's Place and how she is redefining style at home, work and school in the November 6 issue of The Wright County Monitor.
