Jarika Eisentrager becomes new head of County EMA

Even though there was a time when EGHS alumni Jarika Eisentrager had her sights set on a law practice, she now feels that this is the right fit for her as she takes over from Jim Lester as the new head of the Emergency Management Agency for the county.

“I feel my degree in Business Administration with a concentration in management can allow me to take on this management role,” said Eisentrager, the daughter of Jody & Dani Eisentrager. “While I feel my college experience will help, I also know that learning as I go from other EMA’s in the district will be super helpful.”

Eisentrager grew up here in Wright County, and was very involved in 4-H, FFA, athletics, and many other clubs in high school. She graduated in 2017, and then obtained her four-year Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College in just two years, while also being a college track and field athlete.
