Husband/wife duo new pastors at Clarion, Dows First Lutheran

A Presbyterian and a member of the Church of Christ meet at Simpson College.

What happens next? Well, in this case a friendship develops but they end up falling in love, tying the knot and are later ordained and begin their ministry as Lutheran pastors.

Fast forward to today and Grant and Nicole Woodley are the new husband/wife team at the Clarion and Dows First Lutheran churches.

They led their first worship service February 8.

"Genuinely I think people have said, ‘We’re excited that you’re here and who you are and what you bring is important to us,’” Nicole said. “It’s been really cool.”
