Festival in the Park

Clarion’s Festival in the Park kicked off the weekend with Family Fun Night Friday and drew hundreds of people downtown for the music performances, vendors, and parade on Saturday. The weekend was fun for everyone, though strong winds Friday kept some of the games set up for children from running.

Kids enjoyed inflatables and activities sponsored by Building Families programs and other local businesses while adults enjoyed Salty Views and the Wright County Rambler for musical entertainment Friday. Some tried out the unique sand belt races set up on the south side of the courthouse.

Saturday morning’s parade was preceded by a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Clarion Volunteer Fire Department. Even late into the morning, the line of hungry pancake lovers stretched half a block past the Fire House.
