Expanded Therapy Program Settling In At Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center

Big changes have taken place at the Clarion Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. The facility's physical and occupational therapy has undergone a transformation over the last year, growing in size and capability.

     "It was a really small program when I first started," said Alison Hoeke, Director of Rehab and Speech Pathologist. "Our goals were to expand what we could offer the county."

     Over the last several months, the department has expanded to include three full-time therapists and two full-time assistants, all working in-house rather than independent contract. The increased hours allows the rehabilitation facility to serve many more patients on a regular basis, including out-patient therapy.
