Cross country teams compete in two meets

Last Thursday, the Cowgirl and Cowboy cross country teams competed at Clear Lake. The girls team was sixth out of 10 full teams, and were led by Kenzie Alberts in 15th in a time of 23:03. Claire Davis was 21st in 23:56, Shelby Engh 32nd in 25:20, Angela Castro 43rd in 26:28 and Makayla Konopasek 47th in 27:11. Myriam Carrillo led the JV with 18th in 31:27.

The Cowgirls were 11th as a team at Humboldt this past Monday, with Alberts 18th in 22:20.47, Davis 43rd in 24:22.49, Engh 55th in 25:04.90, Castro 71st in 26:12.35 and Courtney Studer 73rd in 26:20.36. Kayleen Johnson had the top JV finish, taking 10th in 27:11.28.

For the Cowboys at Clear Lake, the team took eighth out of 11 with Alex Rosenbaum taking 40th in 20:39. Luke Rapp (CAL) was right behind him in 20:40, followed by Max Powers in 44th in 20:51.
