Cross country team run at Eagle Grove

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows cross country team traveled down Highway 3 to neighboring Eagle Grove for their annual Dick Bell Invitational at the golf course west of town. Charles City took home the team title with 37 points, followed in the top three by Spencer with 63 and Gilbert with 79. The Cowgirls were ninth.

Raven Kinnetz led the way for the team with a 24.35 for 52nd overall. She was followed on the varsity by: Kathy Lopez in 87th with 26:30; Kylie Klaver in 106th with 27:54; Natalie Kirstein in 111th with 28:04; Kaylynn Johnson in 117th with 28:21; Jackie Lopez in 121st with 28:38; Jade LaRue in 123rd with 28:40; Quinn Hansch in 126th with 29:06; Paige German in 131st with 29:31; Evelyn Tevalan in 134th with 30:08; Nicole Lorenzo in 146th with 33:29 and Maya ‘Cupcake’ LaRue in 147th with 36:11. All except Lopez, Klaver and Maya LaRue had season best times.
