Cross country team competes at Humboldt

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows cross country team traveled to Humboldt’s Sheldon Park last Monday (Sept. 17) for the Wildcat Invitational. Gilbert won the girls varsity team title with 80 points, followed in the top five by Humboldt at 90, IFA-AGWSR at 100, Eagle Grove at 124 and Emmetsburg at 146. The Cowgirls were 16th.

The team was led by Raven Kinnetz with 25:30.19 for 55th place. She was followed by Katherine Lopez in 85th with 27:04.84, Natalie Kirstein in 93rd with 28:13.74, Kylie Klaver in 100th with 28:53.92, Jade LaRue in 103rd with 29:17.66, Kaylynn Nelson in 106th with 29:50.29 and Quinn Hansch in 110th with 30:49.70.
