Cowgirls win two more NCC matches

In a home triangular last Tuesday, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows varsity volleyball team defeated both Algona and Pocahontas Area. The win over the Bulldogs had set scores of 25-18 and 25-14, while the Indians went down by scores of 25-18 and 25-13.

Versus Algona, team serving was at nearly 94 percent with Alaina Friesleben a perfect 15 of 15 (four aces). Jadyn Jondle was good on 12 of 12 (one), Kendall Lienemann 6 of 8 and Morgan Middleton 5 of 5. Emily Kapka was 4 of 4 and Megan Askelsen 3 of 4.
