Cowgirls perform well in 400-yard dash and 4X8 relay

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls track & field team opened the indoor portion of their schedule with meets at UNI in Cedar Falls last Monday and at Wartburg College in Waverly on Tuesday.

At the Dickinson Relays, Kenzie Alberts posted a 1:05.45 for 20th out of 137 runners in the 400 dash. Claire Davis was 49th in 1:08.70 and Maddie Disney 72nd in 1:10.37.

“I thought Kenzie ran well with a good time,” said head coach Monty Harker. “Claire is still getting back into running form.”
