Cowgirls having trouble plating runs

Last Thursday in Sheffield, the Cowgirl softball team dropped a 6-2 contest to West Fork. The two teams were tied at 2-2 after one inning, with the Warhawks bringing in two more scores in both the fourth and sixth frames.

Three ladies had multiple hits, as Vanessa Kolb, Emily Kapka and Emma Schluttenhofer all went 2 for 3 with Emma also having two RBI. Megan Askelsen ripped a double in her lone hit and scored a run. Courtney Harle and Remi Johnson reached on singles. Kapka, Schluttenhofer and Harle all stole a bag each, with Quinn Hansch showing patience at the plate in drawing two walks. Kolb and Schluttenhofer had one free pass each.
