It all started with a huge 55-53 win on the road at the Algona Bulldog gym. The game was tight throughout, with the Cowgirls up 9-8 after one quarter only to enter the locker room in a 25-25 tie. Algona took a four-point lead into the fourth quarter, with the visitors outscoring them 17 points to 11 for the win.
