Cowgirls give valient effot but come up short

Even though the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows varsity basketball team lost 59-49 in a home game with Hampton-Dumont last Tuesday, it was certainly not due to a lack of effort.

The ladies played valiantly, but in the end victory was not to be. The Bulldogs were up 28-20 at halftime, but then saw the home team outscore them 15-points to eight to cut the lead to just one to start the final eight minutes.
