Cowgirls end volleyball season with a win

A great season for Clarion-Goldfield-Dows volleyball ended last Friday night in a regional semifinal in Lake Mills, as a 12th- rated Bulldog team ended the Cowgirls season in three straight. Set scores were 25-21, 25-23 and 25-15. It ended a five-match win streak for the Cowgirls.

“I felt like our warmups were very strong, and that the girls seemed very focused,” said head coach Katrina TerHark. “We came out in set one and were down 5-0. Maddie Disney then got us going in serving four straight aces.
