Cowgirls compete at NCC Meet, Eagle Grove

Algona won the team title again at the NCC girls track & field meet this past Monday in Fort Dodge. The Bulldogs scored 152 points, followed by Humboldt with 125 and Webster City with 97.

The Cowgirls had some nice efforts for the meet, as the shuttle hurdle, 4x800 and sprint med relays all brought home gold. A handful of third-place finishes included Disney (long jump), Swanson (high jump), Davis (400), Engh (1500) and the distance med relay.
