Cowgirls bring home third place trophy from 3A State Meet

Livengood takes fifth individually

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls golf team made a great showing to end their season at the Class 3A State Golf Meet in Marshalltown last Monday and Tuesday. When all the team scores became final, they brought back a third place trophy for the case at the high school. Dyersville Beckman was the team champion with a 706 total, followed by: Atlantic 714, C-G-D 734, New Hampton 738, Monticello 749, MOC-Floyd Valley 751, Williamsburg 760 and Nevada 775.

Mikaela Livengood led the team with rounds of 84-79 for a 163 total, giving her fifth place overall. Shanee Tate took 20^th with 87-99 for a 186.
