Cowgirl JV volleyball team finishes their season

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows JV volleyball team, coached by Cara Odland, has completed their season with an overall match record of 6-8-1. Their set record was 14-18. In conference matches only, they were 4-3 with a 9-7 set record.

“After winning our first match of the season, we ran into some tough JV teams,” said coach Odland. “I am very proud of how the girls kept working hard and stayed positive to end the season on a four-match win streak. We had a lot of girls on the JV team, and I couldn’t be happier with how they responded to the situation and came to practice every day to work hard and enjoy the process. One of the team’s goals, due to our high numbers, was to have a motivational bench with a positive attitude and everyone always ready to go in. I thought the girls did very well with this."
