Cowgirl golfers take part in two tri-meets

Last Tuesday at the Oakridge course in Goldfield, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows girls hosted both Eagle Grove and South Hamilton for a golf meet. The Hawks won with a 214, followed by the Cowgirls with 224 and the Eagles with 251. Krista Swenson of the Hawks was medalist with a 44, followed by teammate Katelyn Sogard as runner-up with a 47 total.

For the Cowgirls, counting cards were turned in by Hannah Tew (51), Nicole Waters (57) and both Eden Polzin and Katie Haberman with identical 58 scores. Other varsity rounds were played by Ashtyn DeCoster (63) and Jadyn Jondle (69).
