Cowboys win big over Forest City

After their disappointing loss to district leader Clear Lake, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows varsity football team wasted no time in getting back on the beam and establishing themselves early in a 41-6 road win at Forest City.

The Cowboys put up three first quarter scores and the Indians never recovered after that.

"The first quarter worked better than we had planned,” said head coach Paul Hansch. “The wind worked in our favor, as we took the punt at the 50 and scored on the 53-yard run by Joel Haberman."
