Cowboys take tough loss at Forest City 45-6

Kain Nelson helped avoid the shutout by scoring the only Cowboy touchdown on a one-yard run as the home Forest City Indians picked apart the visitors for a 45-6 win.

Trenton Jergenson led the ground yards with 77 total on 15 carries. Rafael Jimenez added five yards and Cole Lindaman two yards to the total. Shane Conlon was 5 of 12 through the air for 49 total yards. Bryce Allen caught three passes for 35 total yards, Mateo Martinez one for eight yards and Lindaman one for six yards.

Nelson booted six punts for a 37.0-yard average. Jergenson returned three kicks for an 18.0-yard average, Martinez three kicks for a 14.7-yard average, Nevan Foss one kick for 21 yards and Lindaman one kick for 14 yards.
