Cowboys take third in Eagle Grove Invitational

Considering the fact that the two schools finishing ahead of them are in a bigger class, the Cowboy wrestling team had a good day last Saturday in placing third at the 76th annual Eagle Grove Invitational tournament.

Fort Dodge Senior High won with 213 points, just edging out Ankeny with a 212 total. The Cowboys finished at 205, so they were not that far behind. The rest of the teams were farther back, and finished like this: Emmetsburg 149, Eagle Grove 116, Fort Dodge JV 58.5, JV All-Stars 51 and Ankeny JV 39.
