Cowboys prevail over Hampton-Dumont in wrestling match

 While Clarion-Goldfield-Dows had no resistance in blanking St. Edmond 78-0 last Thursday in Hampton, it turned out to be a far different story versus the home Bulldogs.

The Cowboys finally prevailed for a 37-36 nail-biting victory over Hampton-Dumont in a dual that came down to the final match.

The Gaels had no answers for the defending 1A State Dual champions, as seven St. Edmond forfeits pretty much did them in.
