Cowboys cage Eagles by 36-12 score

Following a fairly close and competitive first half, the Cowboy football express really got rolling in the second half as the home team took a 36-12 win over rival Eagle Grove in the latest installment of the classic matchup.

Jergenson ended up with 188 total yards on the ground in 30 attempts (6.3-yard average) with the two touchdowns. He was complimented by Nevan Foss at 46 yards on eight carries, Christian Gaytan at 44 yards on nine totes, Cole Lindaman at 41 yards on four attempts and Mateo Martinez at 25 yards on four carries. Camden Hanson added five yards, with Kain Nelson’s touchdown also included in the team total.

Gaytan finished at 4 of 7 for 105 yards under center for a 26.3-yard average per completion. He passed for two scores with no picks for a 277.4 passer rating. Nelson completed one for 27 yards and Martinez attempted a pass but had no completions. Martinez caught four balls for 125 total yards and two scores, with Lindaman reeling in one catch for seven yards.
