Cowboy wrestlers win three more duals

Last Thursday night on the road, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows wrestling team defeated three more opponents in dual meet action. They took wins over North Polk 59-12, Saydel 63-15 and Gilbert 48-27.

Versus the Comets, the dual started at 113 with Tyler Stein getting a technical fall in 1:37. Garrett Seaba (120) followed with an 8-3 win, and Bryce Allen pinned his man in just 51 seconds for a 14-0 match lead. After Ben Oehlert’s loss at 132, Reed Abbas got the team going in the right direction again at 138 with an 11-6 win. Keaton Wilson (145) scored an 8-0 major win, and one match later Carter Dietz (160) won 9-7 followed by Sam Wigans (170) with a 15-0 technical fall for a 29-12 lead.
