Cowboy golf team plays better in dropping tri-meet

The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows boys varsity lost a tri-meet at Humboldt last Friday, with the home Wildcats and Clear Lake tying at 151 and the Cowboys finishing at 170. Medalist was Waldon of Clear Lake with a 35.

Counting cards were turned in by Trenton Sann with 40, Kenton Waters with 41, Brendon Boyd with 44 and Mike Schaffer with 45. Other varsity rounds were played by Will Weidemann (48) and Zach Martin (52).

In the JV portion of the meet, it was Humboldt shooting a 169 total with Clear Lake at 184 and the Cowboys at 225. JV counting scores were Eryn Ulven with 47, Jacob O’Connor with 56, Connor Johnson wityh 59 and Dylan Jackson with 63. Other cards were turned in by Brandon Hagie (64) and Trey Jackson (64).
