Courtroom sheds light on need for updates

If we’re not going to protect this turf and make this a safe haven, then what are we going to protect?

 

This question posed by Associate Judge Paul Ahlers, District 2B, at the proposed courtroom remodel hearing held March 23 helped sum up the main reason security updates are necessary not only in the second floor courtroom but in the building itself, too.

 

Roughly 40 people attended the hearing to learn more about the estimated $550,000 project and ask questions about it.
