County looking into switching phone companies

Frustration continues to build for county employees because of the ongoing problems regarding rural landlines.

This has been an ongoing problem since 2007. And about 33 percent of calls made from the metro area, primarily, and cell phones to rural landlines are not being completed, according to Jared Johnson, general manager of Goldfield Access Network.

The Wright County Board of Supervisors discussed these problems again at their December 29 meeting. This is the second week in a row.
