Construction On New Hotel Begins

After several years in the making, a new Boulder Inn and Suites is going to be built in Clarion.

Hennigar Construction & Excavation started working on the site, located along Highway 3 west, September 26.

Another crew recently began pouring the footings and the plumbers started their work at about the same time.

“The timeline is kind of vague at this point,” said Lisa Hagie, manager of the private investment group for the project, Clarion Hotel Group LLC. “It depends a lot on how much rain we get in the next few weeks.”
