Coach TerHark releases final cowgirl volleyball stats

Clarion-Goldfield-Dows head volleyball coach Katrina TerHark has released her team’s final overall stats, along with the North Central All-Conference teams and the stats for conference matches only.

The team finished 22-12 overall, with a 3-4 record in conference play which tied them for fourth place with both Webster City and Hampton-Dumont. Humboldt was the league champion at 7-0, followed by Iowa Falls-Alden at 6-1 and Algona at 5-2. Maddie Disney was named to the Second Team in All-Conference balloting, with Hannah Kapka named to the Third Team. Both are seniors.

The team played 87 total sets, with made 1,539 successful serves out of 1,645 attempts for 93.6 percent. There were 202 total aces for 2.32 per set. The team had 660 total assists for an average of 7.59 per set. They had 762 kills in 2,382 attack attempts for 8.76 kills per set. They totaled 1,112 digs for 12.78 per set, and had 166 total blocks of which 106 were solo blocks. They averaged nearly two blocks per set.
