Coach Sann releases final Cowgirl softball stats

Three players make All-NCC

 

Cowgirl softball head coach Patty Stockman-Sann has released the 2015 team’s final stats and the North Central All-Conference selections. Three players made those teams. Junior Hannah Kapka earned a spot on the First Team, senior Rilley Ring Foss was named to the Second Team and senior Maycie Rector received a nod to the Third Team.

The Cowgirls finished 4-16 overall, with a 2-12 record in the NCC, which gave them seventh in the eight-team field. St. Edmond was champion with a 14-0 record, followed by Humboldt at 10-4 and Webster City at 8-6.

As a team, the red and black had 492 total at-bats that produced 91 runs on 124 base hits. There were 17 doubles and two homeruns. A total of 47 RBI were produced, with 11 sac fly’s, 32 walks taken and 25 stolen bases in 26 steal attempts. The team batting average was .252, with a .299 slugging average.
