Sarah Zwiefel says she has loved horses for her entire life, and when she was able to pursue that passion, she went for it full-force. Yet, even she admits that she was quite surprised recently when she got an email notifying her that she won a major honor with her horse Stewie. Zwiefel had won the 2018 Iowa Pinto Open Hi-Point award, and she couldn’t be happier.

Zwiefel has been riding horses since she was a five-year-old living in Rochester, MN. She says, “I’ve always been a horse girl” and explains her mom’s passion for riding helped facilitate her own love of horses. She began taking riding lessons as a kid and got her very own horse for the first time when she was ten years old.
