Clarion Pride Good Neighbor Association wants your junk

The Clarion Pride Association and City of Clarion once again invite Clarion residents to clean up their homes and property this fall with their upcoming citywide clean-up days. With the clean-up coming up in few weeks, October 26th-27th, the city and the community group want to remind everyone of this great opportunity to get rid of junk and beautify the town.

The clean-up days are part of the Clarion Pride Good Neighbor Association’s mission to improve the aesthetics of Clarion. Co-chairs of the event, Peggy O’Neill and Carolyn Bowman explain that the group saw an opportunity to make the town look better and help out residents.  This has been the club’s goal since they formed four or five years ago.  Bowman says, “We saw a need in the community with some neglected houses, junk in yards, and peeling paint.” So a group of concerned citizens took action.
