Clarion Has Superheroes Too

The Clarion Public Library invited the local heroes to come and show the kids what they do to keep them safe.

Area children gathered in the community room at the library, located in the basement, to hear what local heroes do. The local heroes present were Police Chief Steve TerHark; Wright County Deputy Adam Nerlien and his partner, K-9 unit Ali; fire fighters Travis, Greg, and Jarrod; Ambulance EMTs Bryce, JC, and Elmarie; and Ms. Tricia Rosendahl from the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Elementary.

Librarian Nancy Nail introduced the local heroes and played the “Superman Theme Song” as they came in.  The children were told about how and when to call 9-1-1.
