Clarion-Goldfield-Dows spring sports

The spring sports season gets underway next week, weather permitting, for the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows teams. The Cowboy track & field team travels to the Umstead Relays in Eagle Grove on Tuesday, April 3. Field events start at 4 p.m. The Cowgirls will start their outdoor season in the same place, taking part in the Lady Eagle Relays on Thursday, April 5 starting at 4:30 p.m. The Cowboy Relays will take place on Friday, April 6, with the Cowgirls going to Hampton-Dumont that same night. The Cowgirl golf team will host South Hamilton on April 6 at Clarmond to open their schedule, while the Cowboy linksters travel to Jewell to play South Hamilton on their home course. Both meets start at 4:15 p.m. Watch for the annual Spring Sports tab coming out on April 5, with stories and rosters for all the teams plus photos and the season schedules.
