Clarion Chamber wants to raise the bar on the city's appearance

On Tuesday, April 28, at 6:00 p.m. the Chamber of Commerce will be holding a public meeting at the Heartland Museum to discuss plans for a citywide community beautification effort.

In anticipation of Clarion's upcoming 150th Anniversary celebration, the chamber is organizing a "Clarion Pride" campaign to spruce up the city.

"This is a big opportunity for everybody in the community to step it up and showcase what a great community we have here," said chamber president Teresa Lancaster.

Far beyond simply making sure the city looks nice along the parade route, the chamber wants to encourage residents to take this opportunity to improve the look of the community, not just for their own benefit, but for the economic benefit of the city as a whole.
