City holds annual Easter Egg Hunt

The City of Clarion Rec Department hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt last Saturday morning at the Aquatics Park. Unlike past years, the weather was so nice that hundreds of kids and families turned out for the event. To give all ages a fair chance, the area was separated off into various sections for each group. Pictured here, the middle age group readies for the starting whistle! Photo by Bridget Shileny

According to the organizers, there were over 2,000 eggs throughout the park with candy and other goodies stuffing them, along with other small prizes. Still, the event was over quickly due to sheer number of kids. Occasionally, things got a little competitive.
