Chappy's on Main Celebrating 10th anniversary

If a small business makes it to 10 years, it’s an achievement worth celebrating. Chappy’s on Main, a favorite bar and restaurant of the Clarion area, will be doing just that this weekend.

But for Nick Barrett, owner, reaching 10 years isn’t a big milestone so much as just another day on the job.

“10 years older… a lot more gray hair,” he said.

But even if the anniversary is just another day for him, Barrett said it's been a good 10 years.

"It’s been challenging,” Barrett said.  “But the city of Clarion’s been really good to us.”

Barrett and the staff of Chappy’s hopes the community will come celebrate their anniversary with them. Starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, guests can come enjoy food, beer tasting provided by Reclaimed Rails Brewing Company out of Bondurant, Iowa, and also have a chance at some prizes and giveaways.
